Art Gallery and Creative Space
Our gallery is a space where creativity and community come together. From urban landscapes and abstract art to playful, whimsical designs in a variety of mediums, each piece carries its own story. With a focus on upcycled and recycled materials, we believe in giving new life to what might otherwise be forgotten, transforming sustainability into artistic expression.
Located in the historical Plaza de La Merced, founder and artist Travis Moore found inspiration in the ancient Roman crossroads that still remain at its heart. Carrying that spirit forward, the gallery seeks to host a diverse group of artists from around the world, bridging styles and creative works while celebrating the talents of our region.
Above all, we hope to contribute to the already vibrant and creative local art scene by working with the community to place Cartagena on the international art map as a city where imagination and cultural exchange flourish. We aim to do this by showcasing both local and international artists, hosting exhibitions and workshops, collaborating with the community.
"I am a classically trained street artist that draws his inspiration from his surroundings and its inhabitants. I am highly influenced by pop art, street culture and graff and want to bridge the gap between street art and fine art. I have been producing art for over forty years with a focus in the last twenty on my own style Sharpism.
My vision is to expand my solid and recognizable brand of art to the rest of the world, beginning here in Cartagena, and throughout Europe and the Levante with a series of exhibitions and installations across the continent."
A Texas born artist, best known for his pieces depicting a wide array of subject matter, but most notably his interpretations of the modern urban landscape. He works in a range of media, however, he is primarily focused on creating in Posca permanent markers. Travis uses these markers on a multitude of surfaces, including canvas, paper, glass, and all sorts of found objects.
Travis received worldwide media attention as the artist responsible for the Lemmy Kilmister Memorial Statue. The life-size bronze statue is located at the Rainbow Bar & Grill on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, California.
After four years of living in Madrid, he is now based in Cartagena, Spain where he draws his inspiration from the city and its inhabitants, plays on the juxtaposition of the vibrant city, and addresses multiple themes, including the beauty of the single line.
